Why an EOR

Employer of Record Vietnam: the fast, compliant way into the market

Setting up a foreign-invested company in Vietnam takes months of licensing, capital and ongoing administration. An Employer of Record lets you put a person on the ground first, then decide on an entity later, if ever.

Live in days, not months

We already hold a licensed Vietnamese entity. Your Vietnamese hire can be contracted, enrolled in social insurance and on payroll in one to two weeks, instead of the months an entity setup usually takes.

Compliance is ours, not yours

The Labour Code 2019 governs every Vietnamese contract: fixed terms, probation rules, severance, notice periods and statutory insurance. We carry that responsibility as the legal employer.

No capital, no commitment

No investment licence, no office lease, no in-country finance team. Pay one predictable monthly fee per employee and scale the team up or down as your Vietnam plans evolve.

What every Vietnamese employment contract must respect

All figures reflect the Labour Code 2019 (Law 45/2019/QH14) and current 2026 payroll rules. We build each contract to these rules so nothing is left to interpretation.

Vietnamese nationals

Onboard in one to two weeks

Local hires need a compliant contract, social-insurance enrolment and PIT payroll. This is the fastest route and the one most teams start with when building a presence in Vietnam.

Relocating expats

Work permits, sponsored end to end

Foreign hires need a work permit (up to 2 years), a visa and a temporary residence card. We sponsor and manage the full process so your expat can work legally in Vietnam.

Common questions

Hiring in Vietnam, answered

Can I hire in Vietnam without my own company?
Yes. As your Employer of Record, we are the legal employer of record on paper. We employ your chosen hire under our own licensed Vietnamese entity and run a compliant contract and payroll, so you never need to register a company.
How quickly can someone start?
A Vietnamese national can often be onboarded in one to two weeks. An expat who needs a work permit will take several weeks longer, because the permit, visa and temporary residence card all have to be processed before they can legally start.
What does it cost on top of salary?
Employer statutory contributions are about 21.5% of gross salary, plus a 2% trade-union fee. A 13th-month or Tet bonus is customary but not legally required. On top of that sits our flat monthly fee per employee. See our pricing page.
Do expats pay social insurance?
Foreign employees on contracts of 12 months or more are generally subject to compulsory social and health insurance, though they are usually exempt from unemployment insurance. We handle the registration and contributions either way.
Do you handle offboarding too?
Yes. We calculate and pay the final settlement, including any severance and accrued leave, within the statutory window of 14 working days, and complete the social-insurance and contract closure correctly.
